Hello Everyone! My name is Jared and my channel is called The Head Barman. I started it in legacy of my grandfather, Irving Garson, who was a lawyer and home bartender in New York starting in the 1960s. He also taught me how to make my first cocktail and started my love of cocktails and spirits. The chain I have was his and he wore it for parties and get togethers and past it on to me.

On this page I will be making classic cocktails with modern twists among other delicious beverages. And I want you to make them with all of you too! So please leave comments, ask questions, and let’s have some fun! Cheers!

History of Jared

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am a passionate person who combines creative marketing and social networking skills with a deep knowledge of beverages and customer service.

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I was also a recipient and guest speaker for the Reisher Scholarship, an honor that recognizes outstanding academic achievement and leadership. I spoke 4 years after I graduated and am still honored to be a part of the program

I recently opened my own business, The Head Barman, after serving as the General Manager and Beverage Director at Stem Ciders, where I oversaw the operations, staff, and inventory of a popular cider house. I also have experience as a Bar Manager, Bartender, Brand Ambassador, and Director of Marketing for various restaurants, bars, breweries, and real estate, where I developed and executed successful marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.

I am driven by my mission to create memorable and enjoyable experiences and I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the marketing field.
